Flannel Friday Round-Up 2/27

Are you ready for your Flannel Friday round-up?

Of course you are.

Let’s get to it!

Kathryn has all of your St. Patrick’s day needs covered with her Green Guessing Game at Fun with Friends at Storytime!

Storytime Katie has two this week! Her first is the cutest clip-art superheroes you’ve ever seen and is an awesome resource for any of us using the CLSP theme the summer (or anyone using superheroes for anything ever). Her second is a Braille flannel board, that matches braille numbers with arabic numerals. So cool!

Over at Mallory Tells Stories, Mallory has an innovative (and adorable) approach to Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed- finger puppets!

We’re minding our manners with Rachel at Rachel’s Reading Room. She’s got a great activity for demonstrating polite behavior and how it makes us feel with Miss Bee Polite!

Laura, of Library Lalaland, took on a literary classic and did Eric Carle proud. Here’s her beautifully detailed rendition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. That’s craftsmanship!

If you have ever lamented the dearth of ninja-themed flannel boards, then you’re going to love what Emily has for you at Literary Hoots: the cutest gosh-darn felt ninjas anyone’s ever seen!

Jane has several Mother Goose boards to share AND some storage tips for those cumbersome flannels at Piper Loves the Library!

And here on my own blog, I have the flannel version of one of my favorite folk tales, The Foolish Wishes.

You can find even more ideas, tips, and tricks on the FF Pinterest boards, website, and Facebook group. Next week is our Guest-Post-Palooza, hosted by Miss Mollie of What Happens in Storytime…!

Thanks for reading!
