Hey there! My name is Nikki and I’m a children’s services librarian in a rural public library.
I grew up, live, and work in in the lovely state of Indiana. I’ve spent my entire life here in various parts of the state (southeast, northwest, north central…) before settling in south central Indiana. I attended Indiana University Bloomington, finishing my degree in 2014. I provide reference, outreach, and program for kids of all ages. I work primarily with wiggly toddlers and preschoolers and possibly more wiggly elementary age kids.
When I’m not in the library, I’m reading, binge watching Parks and Recreation on Netflix, and eating far too much pizza.
I blog to keep track of my own ideas and plans and to (hopefully) be as useful to other children’s librarians as they have been to me. You can find me on Pinterest here.
All opinions expressed on this blog are mine and do not represent the views of my library system in any way.
